“High Pavilion”

This new poem was written especially in support of the new Wildlife Down Under Pavilion at this year’s Sydney Royal Easter Show to raise awareness of the importance of protecting threatened species in Australia.

The show in Sydney, Australia, is one of the biggest in the world and this year it will be celebrating its 200th anniversary 1823-2023 with a brand-new Wildlife Pavilion - a joint effort from the Royal Agriculture Society of NSW and Habitat Sanctuaries Org.

The pavilion is set to raise AUS$3.5m for wildlife during the show through a variety of dedicated and diverse wildlife organisations.

On that occasion, Endangered Wildlife Poet A. E. (Anthony) Lovell is joining the delegation of wonderful Australian wildlife conservation and rescue foundations to perform poem readings every day between 12-17 April.
