“High Pavilion”

This new poem was written especially in support of the new Wildlife Down Under Pavilion at the 2023 Sydney Royal Easter Show to raise awareness of the importance of protecting threatened species in Australia.

The show in Sydney, Australia, is one of the biggest in the world and celebrated its 200th anniversary 1823-2023.

Endangered Wildlife Poet A. E. (Anthony) Lovell joined the delegation of wonderful Australian wildlife conservation and rescue foundations to perform poem readings on the program, inspiring another two poems.
