“Dragon Hunters”

As a child my favourite animals were lizards - which has made it into a poem about myself (with a ridiculously long title!). I remember finding small dragons in the front yard and the local bushland as a very young boy...sadly long gone. I think Lizard Boy still lives in my psyche somewhere.

There will be another poem about the Victorian Grassland Dragon mentioned in this poem - it is a story in its own right, 'Lazarus Lizard'.
